Making Every Pixel Count
Born and raised in Germany, I have lived in Vancouver, Miami, London, Bath and Bellingham, WA, before making Massachusetts my home. Professionally I come from an airline background but since my move to the U.S. I have kind of slipped into academia and these days I work part-time as a secretary at a local college and I also freelance as a real estate photographer.
Travel has always been my passion but over recent years I have found myself equally drawn to digital photography, especially where I can combine it with my love for interior design. It was a short step from there to creating my own web page when we decided to sell our condo in February 2007. Despite the downtrend in the market our success was spectacular - we sold our property at our desired price within 4 days of posting my photos on the web page! Soon after this a realtor friend asked me to take pictures of a home that she was marketing, and she loved the results. And thus the idea of turning my passion into a business was born.
Photography feeds my soul. I love taking photos of homes and helping people present their properties in the best possible way. I also take photos of my daily life with my Nikon D80, the iPhone or my Polaroid Land Camera, with an emphasis on architecture, landscapes and whatever quirky subject catches my eye.
